The Cosmograph Daytona Leopard - surely crafted as showpieces to exhibit what can be done with a Cosmograph Daytona. With a 40mm diameter, 18ct yellow gold oyster case. The Bezel is set with no less than 36 baguette Cognac sapphires and the end pieces with 48 diamonds. The dial has a Leopard print and is garnished with 8 diamond hour markers and gold subdials.
Definately not your every day watch but if you do require that bit of fancy dress for those very, very special occasions then it’s a snip with a $41,000.00 starting bid at eBay…

How do I verify for myself if my watch is truly a Rolex and not a knock off. Its a Daytona cosmograph, with 18ct yellow gold band, diamond baguette encrusted dial, and diamond baguette bezel.
My dad gave it to me without a certificate, I recently had a certified Rolex rep at the mall look at it.
He suggested the stopwatch button did not operate properly, and that the gold band did not feel heavy enough, he therfore determined it couldn’t be a Rolex.
I’m going for a second opinion, but how does one determine what to look for?
Any ideas?

this just adds weight to my rolex v omega debate i have with my blinkerd rolex mad friend the omega selection has far more taste, wudnt be seen dead in that mess of a watch!!

I´ve got one of this Leopard´s..
And It´s a real Rolex to with all papers and boxes etc.
It´s an really “nasty” design on this one.. but It´s so darn cool!
I´m a collector and bought this masterpiece for a good bargain deal and was supposed to sell it immediately!
But in a strange way It seems that I can´t sell It.
However, in a fake-Leopard there is a big differance in the sub-dials function between the real-deal, and a fake.

now, if they can do that to a daytona, (I saw the watch in Tokyo some 2 and a half years ago, and it was ugly then), why on why can’t they put a date function?!!!

my dads had rolex watches all his life that i can remember and this rolex is the best thing iv ever seen
my dad owns a wildlife sanctuary and the animal print rolex suits his position in life as we all love the animal effect
mainly leopard print
apart from a huge hit album being called ‘wearing my rolex’
its still a most saught time piece in the world so because u cant afford these watched whoevers slagging them off go to thailand and pay £30 for a copy then you can be a pretender just like your bad opinions of a classic time piece
